Niner is a development lawyer specializing in climate change and environmental policy with a love for animals, pastries, and long naps followed by coffee (not necessarily in that order!). She firmly believes that the human-animal bond not only has a big impact on the preservation and improvement of a person’s mental and emotional well-being, but that it can also play a huge role in raising children to be compassionate, resilient human beings. Ramen is the A in this team’s HAT; a 1.5-year old female golden retriever, she loves meeting new people, spending time with her family, and going on (hooman-supervised) adventures with friends. She thinks chin and tummy rubs are amazing, is absolutely crazy about swimming, and is visibly shocked whenever she catches a ball (which is very rare). Apart from being a terrible ball-catcher, Ramen has a weakness for dried leaves and often tries to convince her hooman that they are good for her because they are organic.
