Fundamentals of Animal-Assisted Interventions
An introductory workshop for anyone interested to know more about the human-animal bond and its applications in mutual healing.

Animal-Assisted Activity (AAA)
Animal-Assisted Activity (AAA) is a planned and goal-oriented informal interaction and visitation conducted by a certified Human-Animal Team (HAT)—consisting of a therapy animal and a handler—for motivational, educational, and recreational purposes.
AAA can range from recreational visits in schools and workplace stress relief sessions to “meet and greet” activities in nursing homes and animal-assisted crisis response that focuses on providing comfort and support for trauma, crisis, and disaster survivors.
If you’re interested in AAA programs and visits, please e-mail us at communitailsinc@gmail.com.

Workshops, Trainings, and Screenings
We provide trainings, workshops, and screenings for aspiring Human-Animal Teams (HATs). Aspiring HATs must complete all sessions which include theoretical and practical knowledge as well as field training sessions of the handler with the therapy animal. Certificates will be awarded to those who successfully complete the course.
Curious learners that want to broaden their knowledge in Animal-Assisted Interventions (AAI) are also welcome to participate. Animal companions are not required to join the workshops but will be assessed during screening.
